Zachary's surprise!

There was a Mama and her 3 sons named Zachary, Wesley, and Benjamin. They were getting ready to go to the park to play and to have a picnic. Zachary was very excited. He was six years old and he LOVED to play on the green dinosaur at the park.

Zachary was playing with his airplane when his Mama said for them to get in the Suburban! It was time to go! Their Mama reminded them to all put their seatbelts. Since Zachary was still six, he had to sit in a car seat. Zachary wasn't listening because he was too busy playing with his airlplane, so he didn't put his seatbelt on.

They were driving on the wet road. Suddenly! Their Suburban started going around and around! Then it flipped!!! Zachary heard all the windows crashing around him! Then poor Zachary GOT THROWN RIGHT OUT THE WINDOW AND GOT A BIG BUMP ON HIS HEAD. He was ok but he said to his mama, I learned a lesson to wear my seatbelt!

Susie Ann

Hi! My name is Rose. I’m going to tell you a story. It’s called, “Susie Ann”.

One day Susie Ann and her brother were playing with their baby puppy that was just born. Well, they were going to take a walk with it. They went inside to ask Mama if it was Ok if they could take a walk with the puppy as long as brother holds it. Mama said, “Yes, if you’ll be careful! Be back by suppertime!” They said, “We will!”

While they were going down the lane, they had to run from an angry dog! They ran into the woods! Then they saw a big old house. On the left side of the house, going up to the roof, Susie Ann saw a tall wooden ladder! Susie said, “Wow! Let’s go up that ladder, Tom!”

Tom was 11 years old and Susie Ann was only 8.
Tom said, “Well, Mama said for us to be careful. Let’s just go back home.”

Susie Ann said, “No, I wasn’t to have some excitement and go up there!”

Tom replied, “No, Susie, Mama said for us to be back at suppertime!”

But Susie Ann was already halfway up the ladder, and she couldn’t hear him. Right when she was climbing the last rung of the ladder, she heard a cracking noise! The ladder started to fall! Tom laid the puppy down right under a little bush and ran really fast to catch her!

“Thank you, Tom!” Said Susie Ann “I should have been listening to you. You’re older than me. You know much more than me.

They made it back home just as Mama was putting the last plate on the table.
The End
